There are several ways to do this.
First, email any plans or drawings of a job to info@sickfab.com.
If you do not have the precise measurements, use the email address above to send a description of the project with rough dimensions and materials used. We have the ability to take a shop drawing and turn it into a complete engineered drawing.
If you have a dream but not a plan call us at (702) 550- 4132 and we will help you figure it out. Together we can generate a plan, create a shop drawing, and choose the best materials for the project.
We can start most jobs within five to ten business days, but how long it takes to finish the project varies on the size of the job.
We do both! Our versatile selection of services are set to fit any needs for any customer. From mobile welding on industrial bay doors to custom security gates for your residence, we've got you covered!
All! We love this community and are happy to serve any parts of the area including Henderson. Even though we are Nevada based, we have worked with customers and shipped projects as far as Manhattan, New York. No distance is too far to give our customers the design of their dreams.
If the product you want is not meeting your needs then you become a good candidate for designing from scratch, but if the product is mass produced and available in volume it’s probably more affordable through the dealer. We suggest that if a piece is readily available and just needs a couple modifications, buy it through them and augment with us.
In our field these statements are used interchangeably, but there is one big difference: Metal Fabrication is the scope of work where as welding is a part of it. Metal fabrication includes cutting, designing, and creating items where as welding fuses them together. Yes we weld, but do we only weld? No, it’s just a part of the fabrication process.
Not all welding styles are created equal and therefore we don’t use them equally. Here at Sick Fab we employ the Mig method but use each style as necessary. Mig, also known as wire method, gets its name from having a gun with a trigger that when pulled releases wire and gas. This is by far the most efficient form of welding for our scope of projects.
Opposingly Tig welding is very time consuming and detail oriented. Tig uses a torch and does not create a certified weld. Tig works best on thinner metal and is the most aesthetically pleasing.
Lastly, Stick welding is just as the name implies. Stick is known as the oldest form of welding and uses a metal stick that melts into the weld. You can stick weld almost anything, but we use it very little due to our projects time sensitive nature. If stick welding is needed we can refer you to one of our contacts who uses this method.
Yes, but we are not a sheet metal shop. We will take on projects involving sheet metal, but it is not our typical body of work. If you are looking for projects that work with specifically sheet metal then we would be able to recommend you to one of our contacts. However all other welding and fabrication projects we would be happy to assist you with!
CNC stands for “computer numerical control” meaning we assign the computer a blueprint and when instructed the machine cuts, bends, and designs the metal. This technology creates a much more precise cut and measurement than any human.
